Al Festival asistieron sobre 1,772 personas e hubo 12 diferentes kioscos de comida y artesanías. Asistieron gente desde Killeen, Oklahoma, Corpus Christi y Houston. A la verdad que se disfruto muchísimo compartiendo con nuestra gente boricua y la comunidad hispana de San Antonio. La actividad fue organizada por Papote Rodríguez y la colaboración de la estación de Radio 94.1 La Ley y Heineken.
Papote Rodríguez lleva radicando 13 anooos en San Antonio Texas, y siempre ha estado envuelto con la comunidad en La musical actividades musicales con el Grupo Niche, Víctor Manuel, Jerry Rivera, Kinito Mendez, Cano Estremera, Marvin Santiago, Luigi Texidor, Hector Tricoche, Luisito Carrión entre otros y todos presentados aquí en San Antonio.

The Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance & Cultural Centeris one of the few in the country offering performance and educational programs in traditional dance, music and culture for children through adults. Founded by Ana Maria Maynard in 1997, the mission of our Non-Profit (501(c)(3)) is to promote cultural awareness and pride through authentic performances and high-quality educational programs in performing arts, culture, and the historical development of the Island's customs and traditions. Our premier, professional-level performing company, Puerto Rican Folkloric Dance, is funded in part by the National Endowment for the Arts, the Texas Commission on the Arts, the Austin Arts Commission, and the Institute of Puerto Rican Culture.
Join our Salsa Class for a year-end Christmas Party - Monday, Dec 15, 6-8pm. We'll be dancing to Puerto Rican Christmas music from vintage Willie Colon christmas salsa to the latest holiday mixes from the Island.

Sunday November16 2003 after noon, the puertorrican festival with the theme PRESENCIA BORICUA IN SAN ANTONIO started Celebrating the Discovery of Puerto Rico. Location was at La Villita Assembly Building on Down Town San Antonio. Music included directly from Puerto Rico: Luisito Carrion y Su Orchestra , Grupo Patria doing Ballet Folklorico. From:Austin TX: Dario y Su Combo Rican From Killeen TX: Gonzalez y su Grupo Picante. Representing San Antonio TX: Louis Shaty and Orchestra, Tropicante. DJ"PAPOTE was on the Mix. There was a special presentation By Semeneya dance company. There were Food Booths with Arts and Crafts.
The place was packed and everybody had a great time, celebrating our puertorrican heritage.
